Vote Scott Taylor Tuesday June 8th!
This is Scott Taylor. I am a former Navy SEAL, Iraq War Veteran and small-business owner; not your typical politician. I am an average guy, with an above average desire to put our country back on the path to prosperity. I want to ensure that our children will have the same opportunities that you and I have had. I will continue to fight for the next generation, not the next election. I am reminding you to vote tomorrow at your normal polling place. Who is Going to Fight for You?
As you and your family vote this coming Tuesday in our Republican Primary, please consider the words below. While the candidates compete for the nomination, the winner can look forward to a war that will most certainly be laden with personal attacks by the opposite party, rather than the issues that are bringing this nation down to its knees. Think about the person who you want to fight for you.
Did you ever imagine that politicians in Congress would take over 1/6th of the American economy with unconstitutional legislation that they do not understand, and completely against the will of the American people?
Did you ever think that Government would be talking about a panel of so-called experts deciding who could and who could not get life-saving medical treatments?
Did you ever imagine an America where we would prosecute our military heroes, while at the same time trying to bring terrorists to American soil to give them the same rights as you or I?
Did you ever imagine that we would have a president that would stand shoulder to shoulder with approval beside the Mexican President in our Capital as he scolded one of our states and our Congress?
Did you ever imagine that in America, an unelected Government official could arbitrarily cut executive pay in a private business 50, 70, or 90 percent?
Did you ever imagine that a Federal agency would be giving school children political propaganda to bring them on the side of the president?
Did you ever think that we would have an executive branch that was more concerned about Israel’s settlement building, than its survival?
After thinking about those issues, think about the person who would fight the hardest to ensure that we are doing the right thing.
Will this person you select have the courage to stand up to the administration, the party, and special interests?
Will they have the gumption, and the energy to be part of the solution, and ensure we put our country back on the right path?
As I walk the streets of this district, people of all walks of life are scared. People in this country do not believe they will pass on a better life to their children.
I will stand up to Washington. I will fight for the American people. I will not waiver.

Scott Taylor: Fighting For Our Future
Having listened to Amazing Grace on the bagpipes too many times at memorial services for fallen brothers in recent years, this holiday has a profound meaning to me. As I thought about what to write, two stories and one word filled my mind. The word, “sacrifice”.
The First story: I just received word that a friend of mine was injured in an accident in Iraq and burned. This friend is a former Peruvian special forces soldier, whom I trained deep in the jungles along the Amazon. He came to America for opportunity and the hope that he might have a better life for his family and self. He joined the US Army to serve and protect the freedoms of his new home.
We must always honor those who have served and who selflessly sacrifice much to ensure our beautiful gifts of freedom, hope, and the promise that is America.
The Second story: I recently had dinner with a dear friend who I have spent lots of time with, especially when we served in the SEAL teams together. He had just returned from Afghanistan, escorting the remains of a fallen brother of ours. I cherished these brief moments with him, as I knew he would return to the battlefield a few days later. He was deeply saddened and visibly different. I have reflected on that night with my brother many times.
We must stand with and be there for our brave men and women now and when they return from war. They and their families endure untold sacrifice as we sleep peacefully at night.
As you celebrate this Memorial Day, be sure to show gratitude to those who serve, veterans, and their families who sacrifice for a cause greater than themselves.
Never forget, that freedom is not free.
